About Chrono Odyssey
Chrono Odyssey is a buy-to-play open-world action MMORPG from Korean developer Chrono Studio, published worldwide by Kakao Games. Built in Unreal Engine 5, it sends you into Setera, a dark fantasy world torn apart by a time-bending cataclysm, with a seamless open world to explore.
Time is at the heart of the game. A relic called the Chronotector lets you stop time around enemies, rewind it and visit earlier eras of the world, and these powers feed into the fast, dodge-heavy action combat. Characters come with extensive customization. After a Steam closed beta in 2025 the launch moved several times, and Kakao Games now targets the second quarter of 2027 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
