About ArcheAge Chronicles
ArcheAge Chronicles is XLGAMES' open-world action MMORPG set in Auroria, a new take on the world of the original ArcheAge built in Unreal Engine 5. It moves the series to real-time action combat while keeping the open-world adventure ArcheAge is known for.
XLGAMES is now publishing the game itself and plans to open Steam Early Access in late 2026, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions to follow. It is buy-to-play, Early Access will have no paid in-game store, and the developers say pay-to-win systems were never part of the design. A free PC demo with player-versus-player combat runs during Steam Next Fest in October 2026.
