About Ragnarok X: Next Generation
Ragnarok X: Next Generation is Gravity's officially licensed modern take on the classic Ragnarok Online. It keeps RO's story, world and job system but rebuilds them with 3D graphics, updated controls and cross-play between mobile and PC.
Gear comes from boss drops and player trading rather than paid items, and a player-run auction house drives the economy. Players level through the familiar jobs, take on bosses, dungeons and guild content, and explore Midgard together. It first launched in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau in 2020, then in Southeast Asia and other regions, and came to Steam in 2026.
