About Diablo 4
Diablo IV is Blizzard Entertainment's fourth main entry in the Diablo series, an online action RPG set in the dark world of Sanctuary. Lilith, the Daughter of Hatred, has been summoned back into the world, and your hero sets out across five regions to stop her as demons, cultists and worse spread through the land.
Unlike earlier Diablo games, Sanctuary is a seamless shared open world. You will run into other players in towns and out in the wild, team up for world bosses and events, and can enter the Fields of Hatred for open-world PvP. Characters are built from deep skill trees and loot, with procedurally generated dungeons and a seasonal model that brings new mechanics, a fresh ladder and a battle pass several times a year. The Vessel of Hatred expansion arrived in October 2024 and Lord of Hatred followed in April 2026.
