About World of Warcraft: Forever
World of Warcraft: Forever is a new, permanent version of World of Warcraft that reimagines the original Vanilla-era Azeroth, announced at BlizzCon 2026. It sits alongside modern World of Warcraft and WoW Classic rather than replacing either, and unlike seasonal Classic realms it is meant to be a lasting home that keeps growing.
Forever expands the classic world with three new zones, more than 1,000 new quests, nine new dungeons and two new raids, along with reworked systems. It also adds a new playable race, the Skyborne, elves from Zephras Isle with their own starting zone. The game is included with an active World of Warcraft subscription or game time, while the Skyborne race requires one of the paid Forever editions. It launches on November 4, 2026.
