About Predecessor
Predecessor is a free-to-play third-person MOBA from Omeda Studios, a team that set out to continue the spirit of Epic Games' cancelled Paragon. It pairs the tactical depth of a classic MOBA with the feel of a 3D shooter, letting you aim abilities and use height and cover across a detailed map.
Ten players split into two teams of five, pick a role in the Offlane, Jungle, Mid Lane or Duo Lane, and push through towers and inhibitors to destroy the enemy core. Players build their heroes with items during each match and can queue for casual, ranked and quick modes. Predecessor entered paid Early Access in December 2022, went free-to-play in March 2024 and fully launched in August 2024 with cross-play on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
