About Active Matter
Active Matter is a realistic military extraction shooter from Matter Team, published by Gaijin. You play an operative caught in a time loop who is pulled back from death again and again, sent into quantum-unstable zones to harvest active matter, a substance that can bend time and space.
Raids mix PvP and PvE: rival operatives from other timelines hunt the same prize, survivors driven mad by active matter roam the zones, and physics-breaking anomalies can kill you as easily as a bullet. Grab what you can and extract before the zone collapses with everything still inside it. Between raids you expand your syndicate's base, upgrade your arsenal and join syndicate battles over the richest sources of active matter. The game launched on Steam in September 2026.
