About Old School RuneScape
Old School RuneScape is Jagex's official throwback version of RuneScape, built from the game as it was in 2007 and relaunched in 2013. It has since grown into its own game, with new quests, bosses, skills and areas added over the years, and major updates are only released after the players vote for them in polls.
Players are free to spend their time in Gielinor however they like: level 20-plus skills from Fishing and Cooking to Slayer and Runecraft, follow long story quests, take on challenging bosses and raids, risk everything in the Wilderness or trade on the Grand Exchange. Free-to-play worlds are available, with a membership unlocking most of the map and content. It runs on PC, Mac and mobile with cross-platform play.
