About Battlerite
Battlerite is a free-to-play team arena brawler from Stunlock Studios and the spiritual successor to Bloodline Champions. It takes the hero combat of a MOBA and strips out the lanes, minions and items, leaving pure fights between small teams.
Matches are 2v2 or 3v3 from a top-down view, with WASD movement and every ability aimed by hand, so dodging matters as much as hitting. Before each round you pick battlerites that change your champion's abilities, and the first team to win three rounds takes the match. Battlerite entered Early Access in 2016 and fully launched in November 2017. Stunlock stopped active development in 2019 and moved on to V Rising, but the servers remain online.
